My old furnace finally quit working and after a simple phone call and talking with there estimator Eric, they scheduled me right in for a replacement. Eric explained everything very well and was easy to talk to. Also, there prices are very very good compared to other companies out there. An excellent team by the names of James and Deven arrived right on time and did a super nice job installing my new furnace. Both of them were very professional and answered all questions I had about maintenance and servicing. They went over the operation of the furnace and how to use the nice new thermostat. I will say I had a most excellent experience with Puyallup Heating and Air conditioning from beginning to end. They have a great team, very professional and best prices around, seriously! Woke up to furnace making awful noise. Did a quick check of reviews and found PHAC. Filled out online contact request. Within 10 min I got a call. They booked for next day but with freezing temps I asked if they had a cancellation if they would reschedule me. This is the second time I’ve had to call on Puyallup Heating and Air Conditioning. Once for a service and again today for repair. Both times they were incredibly quick to respond - scheduled the service quickly and had a repair man sent the same day for my current issue. In addition, both times, they sent their technical rep Anthony Martin. I am beyond impressed with his knowledge, Customer Service, and willingness to answer questions and explain all the details related to his findings. Just bought a new house in Port Orchard and called Puyallup Heating & Air-conditioning because their sticker was on the existing HVAC system. Got an appointment to have it serviced within 3 business days and received both a confirmation the day before the appointment and an email confirmation when my technician was on the way. My technician, Anthony M., was great and knew our system from servicing it for the prior owner. Anthony took to the time to explain the system to me (never had a heat pump before), installed our Nest thermostats (surprisingly confusing when a heat pump is involved), serviced our system and showed me how to best maintain my system between servicing. Overall a great experience

We had our first scheduled maintenance service in our A/C and furnace today. Jason and Patrick came out to service it. They sent an email and text with a picture so we would recognize our technicians when they came which was nice. They showed up at the beginning of our service window and worked quickly and efficiently through the service. My new Carrier heat pump is almost one year old now. It has been great through its first summer and winter. I chose the "high heat" model. Over the winter we hit a low of 13 F. The unit never kicked in electric resistance heat and was able to keep up with the demand. I am very impressed. My electric energy cost has gone down by over 1/3rd saving $700 this year. Nice!Puyallup HVAC was quick to come out to make an estimate, provided all the information I needed and the installation was done when they promised it. The installation crew were professional and excellent craftsmen.

A great group of guys that work very well together as a team. Replaced our 68 year old oil furnace with a Carrier gas furnace/heat pump. Two day install was very smooth and professional. The gas furnace draft inducer was on the loud side, so they replaced it - completely solving that. I would highly recommend this tight knit company. They have high integrity from the top down. Pricing was very competitive.

I recently had to replace my home heating system after 25 years of service. I contacted 4 companies and received 4 separate bids. I chose Puyallup Heating & Air Conditioning because they were the lowest cost, their bid had great value and they were very professional in their response to my questions. The contract process was easy to complete and understand. I was assigned an installation date two days after signing the contract. The two service technicians/installers, Todd and TJ, arrived at the scheduled time. They were very professional and customer friendly answering the few questions I asked. They indicated the installation /work would take about 4 hours, which it did. They cleaned up their work area, removed my old heating system, and walked me through the features of the new one. I would strongly recommend Puyallup Heating & Air Conditioning for any of your heating/air conditioning needs.

Todd, James, TJ, and Mark, showed up at the scheduled time. Explained in detail what work they would be doing as well as the processes that would take place. Got to work right away and didn’t stop u til the job was completed, even while other work was being done to the house by another contractor. I asked them to have a look at an open duct in my crawlspace to which they did and fixed that issue as well. After the units were installed, they went over everything they did in detail, showed me how to operate a newly installed thermostat and cleaned up the areas they worked in. I am very satisfied with the work that was accomplished and appreciate everything they did to get my home back to being warm and comfortable for my family again! Highly recommend them to anyone that requires a new HVAC system or even general maintenance. I also want to give a shoutout to Erik who came by and explained all of my options before the installation. He explained everything that he would recommend for my particular situation without trying to upsell me anything he didn’t think I would need. And after receiving 3 estimates (always get 3!) theirs was the best for my needs.

They were fantastic all around. Let's face it: No one is happy when dealing with a busted furnace. Ours conked out right before the major cold snap in early January. But we got a friendly answer from Tanya (a real person!) as soon as we called, and we had a technician and salesperson (Erik) out to our house shortly after that. It was a no-pressure sales situation. Erik could have tried to upsell us on an expensive upgrade, but he didn't. He gave us a good range of affordable options well-suited to our home. (Our neighbors have had furnaces replaced in the past year, so we had a ballpark price range in mind, and PH&AC nailed it.) Once we settled on what we wanted, Erik and the office got our installation booked very quickly. Daniel and Mark arrived a couple days later, right when they were supposed to, and they were very friendly, smart, and thorough. (Everything you want from furnace installers!) From first call to installation, the entire process took only a couple of days, and we're very happy to not be freezing our butts off this winter. End to end, the experience was better than we thought it could be. Communication was excellent throughout, with multiple texts and calls and confirmations. The whole team went above and beyond to help us get through a bad situation, and we really appreciate their attention to detail, their kindness, and their professionalism.

I can't rave about this company enough! they installed my ductless heat pump for me 8-9 years ago. they are kind, professional, provide great service, and are so easy to reach! I called AM yesterday, on a Monday right before the initial heat coming to the area because my heat pump had an issue. They had a same-day appt and texted before they arrived, but were able to come earlier than expected!the tech was very polite and answered our questions. They got my ductless heat pump up and running in TOP form immediately.10/10 would recommend them to anyone asking for help! The ductless heat pump they installed is a champ. Heat and AC for our family all in one easy-to-use unit.

We called Puyallup Heating and Air for a replacement of our furnace and an installation of air conditioning. I do careful research and had five companies come out to bid on the project. The brand they wanted to install, Carrier, is the top rated HVAC equipment out there. After Erik Hoover came out and thoroughly explained the options and process, and the fact they were very reasonably priced, it became obvious that they were the right company to choose. I highly recommend Puyallup Heating & Air...I had another company come out to do my yearly maintenance, and they stated that my heat exchanger was cracked and I need to replace the furnace, as well as issues with my heat pump which needed to be replaced (lowest bid from them was $21k, highest was $55k.) I called PH&A and Eric came out to give me a bid on replacement items. He looked at the furnace and did not see a crack. He suggested that I book an appointment to have a service technician come out and take a look at both items. Jason came out and did a great job! He took my furnace apart and sure enough, no crack in the heat exchanger (and showed me multiple pictures to prove it.) After looking at my heat pump, he said all I needed was a contact replaced.So nice to run into honest employees that are just not out to take your money! 5+ stars!

I found our technician, Anthony to be a true expert going the extra mile to explain every step in the diagnostic process of furnace maintenance. Very committed to providing excellent customer service, the most thorough inspection of our furnace inner workings, electrical connections and testing of components to make sure we're prepared for winter. On top of that, the entire inside of the unit was brushed and vacuumed of dust.

I have to say this is the 2nd time I’ve used this company for A/C and furnace. The first time to do maintenance on both units. Even though my furnace is 25 years old they said no work needed. The A/C is 15 years old and no work needed (3 years ago). My A/C is now 18 years old and stopped blowing cold air. He came out and explained what happened and said a capacitor needed to be replaced. He also said the fan motor will need to be replaced in the near future but didn’t need it right away.Both times the techs were completely honest. It was very refreshing. Both tech so nice and didn’t take advantage because I’m a woman. I would definitely use them again. Highly recommend!!!!

Honestly I didn't think I'd be writing another review concerning Puyallup Heating but after Thursday (6/9) when Jason came out on a service call, I had to report it.On 11/11/21, my wife and I were happy with the purchase, process and installation of our system. Yes, there were a couple of service calls following the event but that was to be expected wasn't it? One of those early calls included my concern over the blinking light inside the furnace housing every time the unit kicked on, etc. Anyway, all that aside, I showed Jason (the repair person) the unit and stepped away. I don't think 10 or 12 minutes had the time to pass before he announced its successful completion. In my way of thinking that really was a little too fast but his stature and protocol combined with the MOST QUIET operation I EVER witnessed from my still new unit refused disagreement. Honestly I couldn't be more pleased with the results of a service call and Puyallup Heating. By the way, the blinking light hasn't blinked since Jason's visit and the exquisite quiet continues.Thank you againBob

Our unit stopped working. We had another company come look at our unit. They said our issue was not covered under the warranty and wanted to charge us a lot. We contacted Puyallup Heating & A/C and they fixed our system using the warranty. The overall process was quick and easy. They even told us the other company misdiagnosed the issue and it would not have fixed the problem. We had paid maintenance with the other company, but refuse to use it. Instead, we signed up for maintenance using Puyallup Heating & A/C. We will only use a company that is honest and we can trust.
